Captive

I was about to slip away with the score of a lifetime and then I woke up in this place. I’ve been in worse situations and will get out of this one, though it may just take a while…You win some. You lose some - This is the life of a pirate on the new frontier. Captive reflects the losing side of things with this privateer strung up in a dark, wet storage room in some forgotten station. Beaten and bruised, she has no worries that she’ll get out of this jam, though it may take some wrangling to do so. If only her captors knew who they were dealing with… Click the image to view a larger version.Edit: Originally a private commission, this piece has already received some great feedback and interest both here and on a few other select sites. Enough so that I’m working on renegotiating with the original commissioner to create a limited edition print run of the piece, so stay tuned for more!Edit Edit: After several requests, I’ve decided to release the Vue scene from this piece as a free download. A Night at Feng’s

May 29, 2007 | Leave a Comment

Somewhere in the sub-basement of Dystopia, there is a dingy, hole in the wall joint where dock workers, truckers, police and the like are between shifts and come in to eat, drink and recharge before hitting the road for more. With a hot bowl of Chinese food in front of them and the cold at their back, Feng’s is the working man’s stopover on his way to wherever the daily grind may take him. ZH-120 Heavy Bomber

This is one that I’ve had in the hopper for some time now and am finally calling it done. It’s a futuristic, fast attack, heavy bomber. Made in Japan by HCS (Hitachi Combat Systems) for the U.N. Airforce, the ZH-120 is a heavy bomber that is capable of supersonic speeds and can deliver a cadre of laser-guided ordinance from it’s drop bay in the craft’s belly. While not intended for air-to-air combat, the ZH-120 also packs multiple rockets, light missiles and traditional .90 caliber forward guns, so needles to say, the ZH-120 is not one to be messed with.
