Dys-Billboards for Vue
November 1, 2008 | Leave a Comment
I posted a new freebie for Vue last night that may be of interest to fans of the Dystopia genre. It’s a Vue conversion of Team Dystopia’s Dys-Billboard model with 10 custom, illuminated display options. The mats all feature video scanlines, a little grime, some weathering and all original advertisements. This freebie is available exclusively from the Team Dystopia website, so site registration is required. Once you’ve registered and logged in, you can click here to go right to the post within the Treasury Department.
Dystopia Dirigible Vue Freebie
August 11, 2008 | 1 Comment
For the Vue users out there, I’ve made my textured Vue version of Team Dystopia’s Dirigible model available as a free download from Team-Dystopia.com. The model comes fully textured and illuminated as seen here and in my piece titled The Morning After. The download is located in the Treasury section of the Team Dystopia website, so registration is required to get at it. Once registered and logged in, the link can be found here>
Update: City at Night Lights for Vue
May 29, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Ok, so this really isn’t an update, more of a usage note, as I realized I left out a simple step for users of the Vue version to get the best results from these materials. Due to the way the window regions of the Dystopia City Blocks are mapped, you should double click the materials, choose advance editor and under the color & alpha tab, set the mapping mode to ‘faces’ and then adjust the map size to get the look you desire. This will yield the effect shown above instead of the little tiny lights you get by just adding them to your blocks.
The materials work on primitives and most other objects without any need for the above edits, so no worries there. Oh, and if you don’t already have them, I suggest picking them up right here>

Container Moving Robot: Military Edition
April 15, 2008 | Leave a Comment
For those that don’t frequent the Team Dystopia website, they’ve got a great selection of freebies in their treasury department that shouldn’t be missed. I’ve created a Vue version of rg5a’s Container Moving Robot model and it’s available for download direct from the Team Dystopia website. It includes both a standard container and a red-cross/medical badged version for all your humanitarian missions.
Click here to visit Team-Dystopia.com and get the linkage to the Vue version of the model from the treasury department in the forum. You must be a registered user of the Team-Dystopia.com forums to download this model, but registration is quick, free and easy… so what are you waiting for?

I’ve added a couple of new desktops to the desktop image downloads page that include both Bonneville and Awaiting Orders. As usual, both are available in widescreen 16:9 and standard 4:3 formats, so you’re covered either way - enjoy!
Control Room B for Vue
February 26, 2008 | Leave a Comment
Apparently my Control Room B freebie was offline and thanks to an astute visitor that pointed this out to me, it’s back up and available for download. This is the scene I created for Captive and if you like the look of a dark, wet, hole in the bottom of nowhere, you better snag a copy of this before I rebuild my site and break the link again
