Atmosphere Station
I saw a couple of these in a Warhammer 40k diorama and thought they would make for a useful scene accessory. I think the Warhammer 40k model is a moisture condenser or something, but I thought it would make a nice Atmosphere Station - something seen across the surface of recently colonized planets who’s primary function is to adjust the various levels of compounds that make up atmosphere. While primarily automated, there is a control panel on one side allowing for manual overrides and system maintenance.
The preview at left is a crop from my Atmosphere Station Maintenance piece which can be seen here.
This model is provided in .vob for users of e-on software’s Vue application. All textures are applied to the model and saved in the .vob file. The model is high-detail, yet low-poly, so you could stuff quite a few of these into a scene if you wanted to with little problem.
