Caliber City Steel
Caliber City Steel is an exterior, rooftop scene that focuses on a small corner of the massive Caliber City Steel plant. Behind the weathered, landmark Caliber City Steel sign is the upper roof section of Building 5 with it’s three stubby smoke stacks, HVAC equipment and service walkway. From Building 5, a catwalk crosses over the heavily polluted wastewater towards Building 6. Hanging high over the drainage basin is a medium weight landing pad for service crews and security teams in need of quick access to the upper areas of the plant.Housing the plants high-volume, carbonized steel smelters, Building 6 is of key importance to the plant as it alone provides 70% of the lightweight, hybrid steel used in Caliber City’s ever expanding skyline and the security door at the end of the catwalk yields access to the mighty structure’s upper deck gantry crane. The entire facility operates 24/7 pumping out some of the finest steels on Earth and while they do have an export division, the bulk of the plant’s output never makes it out of Caliber City. Why ship heavy product anywhere when the largest city known to man is right in your own backyard?
This model was created in Vue 6 Infinite and is provided as a Vue object (.vob) file. The model was tested in all versions of Vue 6 (Easel, Esprit, Pro Studio, Infinite and xStream). This product is not compatible with Vue 5 at any level. Drop me a line if you have any questions and thanks for checking out this product! Warning: This is a large model using multiple high-res texture maps and complex procedural materials which requires a considerable amount of system resources. The good news is that it is designed in modules so that you can delete anything not in the camera’s view to free up some headroom. You have been warned ; )
