Celestra Descent
I’ve never done a real honest to goodness outer space piece before, so I guess this would be my first attempt. I had a whole story to go with this, but it was getting a little long, especially for such a simple scene. The short version is that the research vessel Celestra is being moved into a low atmosphere orbit as part of a recovery mission involving a long forgotten cache of Mark II Vipers on the desert moon of Asaris.
The Celestra is a rarely seen, but very cool capital ship in the BSG universe, so I was happy to be able to utilize if for something. The model is the work of Tovette from scifi-meshes.com and the flanking Viper models are the work of J.Hoagland/vanishingpoint.biz, so thanks to both of them.
