Supply Drop

Here’s an older one that I thought I would add to the gallery. The concept of the piece was to create a feeling of a very cold, remote location and drop a group of people and equipment into the middle of it. In this scene the crew of Arctic research station 12 meets the supply ship at the rendezvous point in Severnaya Basin. I ended up using alphas for the human figures in the scene as I was unable to source any decent, modern cold weather gear for M3 and friends : (
