Serenity (Coming Storm)
“Take my love, take my land. Take me where I cannot stand. I don’t care, I’m still free. You can’t take the sky from me.” …sometimes you’ve just got to step back and take it all in.
Joss Wheadon’s Firefly was seriously one of the best sci-fi dramas ever put on TV and regardless of what reason you think the show failed (I blame Fox), you can’t deny the enviable cult status it’s received from such a short run. There’s rumor of a second feature film based largely on the success of the DVD, but who knows? The Firefly/Serenity franchise will always hold a special place in my heart as they truly nailed the space western genre on the head which is no small feat to pull off, so I guess this is my little tribute.
